Charlotte Prepares for Mummies of the World
Over 40 mummies arrived in Charlotte on Tuesday, Nov.1, 2011 under heavy security detail for the upcoming Mummies of the World exhibition at Discovery Place. Mummies of the World debuts at Discovery Place Friday, November 11. It is the largest exhibition of real mummies and related artifacts ever assembled, featuring an astounding collection of 150 artifacts and real human and animal specimens from South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Egypt. Mummies premiered to sell out crowds in Los Angeles at the California Science Center in July 2010. It quickly became a major attraction and one of the most successful exhibitions in the Science Center’s 13-year history. The debut of the exhibition at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia in June 2011 attracted attendance by visitors from all 50 states and more than 20 countries in just one month after opening.

Toyota Driving Expectations Reaches Denver Teens
Toyota hosted a course on the perils facing teens and their parents as young drivers hit the open road with myriad distractions facing them. Texting, friends, food and drink all contribute to unsafe driving practices in both the young and old. The goal of the program is to help both teens and their parents learn how to deal with these distractions.
